Celebrating with the Braves

In celebration of Quinn's First Communion we headed to the Braves game. There is nothing like baseball, hotdogs, ice cream, and a coke to celebrate.

Catch up

I think I am fianlly cought up after our whirlwind past few weeks. Softball and baseball are in full swing.  Both kids are playing on rec league teams and also on select teams that play/practice on Sundays.  That keeps our weeks and weekends pretty full.

A few weeks ago Jay and I headed to Tortola, one of the British Virgin Islands to spend the weekend with some friends from St. John. We were lucky enough to have Mary and John come and stay with the kids.  Everyone had a blast!  After a few days of school the kids, Susie, and I drove to Ft. Myers for Spring Break.  I was there for a few days then I headed up to New York City to spend the weekend with Jay.  He had some work up there so I thought I would tag along.  Lucky again, Susie and Uldis kept the kids in Ft. Myers.  Again, everyone had a blast!  Once we got back from our vacations it was back to work, school, and sports.  Evyerone was glad to be back and begin the final push until school is out.  Only 6 weeks left!  There is a lot going on in those 6 weeks....softball, baseball, Easter, Quinn's First Communion, visitors (My friend Amanda and her family, My Dad, and Mary & John), and the meetings and shopping to begin our house renovations.  I am not worried who need a clean house and clean clothes!

Is that Obama?

Nope but he is staying in the hotel next to us. Makes it interesting getting around.

Spring break

As you can probably tell we are on Spring Break in Ft.Myers Florida. So far the kids have done a lot of "volunteer work". Volunteer work meaning eating ice cream, going on dinghy rides in search of manatees, and going minature golfing. All of these volunteer efforts have been done with Uldis. The kids have been disappearing with him to volunteer.

Today I forced the kids to go to Sanibel and Bowmans beach. Of course they had fun looking for shells, playing in the waves and ending it with ice cream.

Tonight it is sliders for dinner and the basketball game, Go Dawgs!
