Its gone. There is no longer a place for Jays friends to change at in between events. No more punching in the code and coming in through the garage. No more straight down the middle to get in. No more parties in the basements. No more Christmas. No more baseball in the front yard. No more falling asleep on the couch in the family room.
Mary and John were finally able to sell their house. I know that they are relieved to see it go but it is bittersweet goodbye. That is the only house the kids and I have known for them. They are now in Florida, where we will make new memories.
