The Life of Walker

She received Student of the Month on Friday and pulled out her tooth.

Monday she started The Love City Leapers, the local Jump Roping team.

What about Quinn you ask...He is still the trouble making loveable little boy that he has always been, oh except now he is 7!

Quinn's party

We had Quinn's birthday party today at Maho. It was a beautiful day. Almost everyone from his class and a few more came. We had hotdogs, pretzels, watermelon and cupcakes (the menu picked by Quinn). The kids all had a blast playing in the water. We had squirt guns, rafts, boogie boards and skim boards. I would love to show you the picture of Jay trying to skim board but I am afraid he might divorce me. It was a great day. The kids have ended the day by laying in our bed watching tv. They are exhausted as am I!

Why?

Sunday afternoon after they had snuck in the house to retrieve shoes and then snuck downstairs and up the outside stairs, Quinn comes in the house asking for a pair of scissors. "What do you need the scissors for" I ask. "To cut the christmas bush out of the way" he replies. "NO WAY!" I told him. " You and your sister are not suppose to be anywhere near the christmas bush"

A few minutes later Walker is dangling her arm in the pool and Quinn is jumping in. "I might have gotten it on my hand" she says "And I might have gotten on me, but I dont think so" says Quinn.

Guess what...Walker does not have it anywhere and Quinn has it on his...ears, under his nose, on his cheeks, chin, neck, waist line (both sides) and his foot. He bathed in Tecnu today so lets hope that helps. I am already starting to scratch.

Second Day of School, a week or so late

Here is a picture of the kids in front of the school sign on the second day of school. Since I was only allowed 1 picture I had to take this the day after. I have been swamped with kids and school, Jay has been traveling so this post took forever for me to get to.

Roosie and her new friends

We recently rescued two guinea pigs (that is putting it nicely but I wont go into it, too long and complicated of a story). Their names are Darwin and Snowflake. They usually reside at school but they have gone into the witness protection program due to the fact we think they might get abducted. Yes we are talking about guinea pigs. Anyway, Roosie does not know what to do about them. Most of the time she paces around the cage whinning and wagging her tail, the other times she just sits in front of the cage whimpering. One of the funny things about the gp's is that last week we had one of them neutered. The last thing I want is tons of baby gp's running around. Snowflake had already had one litter and I would not be surprised if she was preggers before we had Darwin fixed.

The First Day of School

Walker and Ms. Susan
Quinn and Miss Liz

Today was the first day of school for the kids. Walker in 3rd with Ms.Susan and Quinn in 2nd with Miss Liz. I was only allowed to take 1 picture of each so I got one with each of their teachers. What they dont know is that tomorrow I will take more. We managed to get Quinn in a collared shirt and khakis. It will be the only day, tomorrow he is back to his usual attire. Walker of course matched perfectly but now she is too cool to say hi to me in school.

Off she goes

Erika wandered south of us. No rain as of 7:17 pm.

Wandering Erika

Tropical Storm Erika is suppose to hit us today but she has been wandering too much to make any sort of major impact. Maybe she will find herself once she passes by St. John.

Who I am by Walker

"Mom I am just like you" says Walker

"Why do you think so" I say

Walker- "Beacause of my attitude, its just like yours" " I am like daddy too but I dont know why"

"Thanks Walker" I say
