Weekend

After the rainouts yesterday we hung around the house not doing much. Today we did some things around the house, laundry, move hostas, play catch, stick our arms in a drain in an attempt to unclog it (no verdict on that yet). After all that we headed north to watch jay play tennis- he won! The kids were able to run around in the beautiful weather. Hopefully this week my shoulder will be feeling well enough to work on the garden. The garden is tilled and the seedlings are growing. As for my shoulder I have either bursitis or calcium deposits. The 3 cortisone shots I got on monday helped a bit but not enough to make the pain go away.

Making cookies on a rainy day

All games today were cancelled due to rain. Susie, Mary, and John are
all here to watch. So we decided to make cookies and have some
cocktails! Whit stopped by to help too.

Quinn

During quinn's game today he had to go to the bathroom. On the way
back he stopped to smell the flowers..well he actually stopped to pick
a dandelion puff and blow it. Nothing like focus.

I guess it is ok. He got 2 singles and a double 3 RBI's and the game
ball. Way to go Quinn!

We were watching the braves play on Monday night. The padres scored 10
runs in one inning. Quinn said "what about the run limit"?

He also took time out of his practice on Monday to inform one of his
coaches of the rules. The funny part was that Quinn was right.

Another first

Another first time ever for #8 was visiting all 4 pools. That is
another thing I had never done in all my years going to Ft. Myers.

We left Ft Myers today and headed up to Melbourne and Mary and John's.
The kids first question was where is the golf cart. They love to go
on golf cart rides!

Bowmans beach

Yesterday we went to Sanibel and spent the day on Bowmans beach. After
the beach we went to the Island Cow for dinner.

Two times

First time we have played jungle golf twice in one day. This includes
all the time I played there growing up.

3:35 rode bikes to have a cocktail at the sandy butler

6 am wake up, play UNO, pick hibiscus, check contents of fridge
7:15am wake up everyone in condo
8:15 ride bikes to Dunkin donuts for breakfast
9:45 put on bathing suits and head to pool
11:30 return from pool and have lunch
12:00 go on dinghy ride looking for manatees (found them, saw lumpy),
take dinghy to bowditch beach
2:00. Get off at dinghy at pool 4 and play shuffleboard
2:20 swim in pool 4
2:25 run/ walk the half mile from pool 4 to condo
2:45 have moosetracks ice cream on lani
2:55 have whipped cream squirted in mouth
2:56 stop moving and watch movie

I want to know if it is time for bed yet or maybe time for a cocktail?!
