Hanging with the Family

We have had a great time with everyone this week. It has been a crazy week. Here is the bad Mitch and Laine had flight troubles getting here so they did not get here until Sunday instead of Saturday. Susie hurt her back yesterday and is out of comission. I lost my wedding band at the beach on Sunday, hence the metal detector on the beach. Now for the good. We have been to Maho, Trunk, and Hawksnest. We went out on the boat on Tuesday for a North Shore tour. We had lunch at Skinnys yesterday, yummy. The kids have had pancakes and been in the pool every morning.

Dad leaves today, Uldis tomorrow and everyone else on Saturday. We are planning on going over to Jost tomorrow for our final day.

The kids had their final games on Saturday. The Baracudas were once again victorious. There were some new fans at the game.

Results from Yesterday

After I left for the beach yesterday many things happened. 2 out of the 3 AC's got fixed. The one in the kids bedroom does not work. The entire unit is done with. Hopefully a new one will be procured sometime in the next few days.

This moring there are 2 guys doing landscaping...meaning weedwacking and mowing, and 1 carpenter. I cannot go to the beach! The kids and I are off to St Thomas again to go to the bookstore and get Susie. The fun begins!!

Invasion 09

The invasion begins tomorrow. Susie, 3pm Uldis, 5pm, Matt, Jen, and Anna, 9pm all arrive tomorrow. Dad, Mitch, and Lanie, 3pm all arrive on Saturday. They are all on the same flight. We have a great week planned. To prepare for the week this is what is going on at our house right now, roofers, carpenter, 2 different sets of AC guys (yes its still not working), cleaning lady, and our landlord. It is crazy....I might as well go to the beach!

Last Day

School is out for Summer! Tomorrow we are off to Hawksnest for Family Beach Day. Friday work, without kids, then vacation starts!

Maiden Voyage

We took the boat out today for its maiden voyage. Before I tell about it, congratulations to our friend Ananda. She had her first communion today! We celebrated with her by taking her and her family boating with us. We hit the water with the Majettes on their boat and the Morris's on ours around 1230 and headed for Lovongo Cay, swam around, and experienced a rain shower. After an hour or so we headed to Waterlemon for another swim and float. Everything went great with the boat. We figuired out some things that need to be taken care like where to put things so you can find them again, of but nothing to major. We are looking forward to boating on the weekends, especially when family and friends come, so come for a visit!!
