Maiden Voyage

We took the boat out today for its maiden voyage. Before I tell about it, congratulations to our friend Ananda. She had her first communion today! We celebrated with her by taking her and her family boating with us. We hit the water with the Majettes on their boat and the Morris's on ours around 1230 and headed for Lovongo Cay, swam around, and experienced a rain shower. After an hour or so we headed to Waterlemon for another swim and float. Everything went great with the boat. We figuired out some things that need to be taken care like where to put things so you can find them again, of but nothing to major. We are looking forward to boating on the weekends, especially when family and friends come, so come for a visit!!

It has taken me forever to get these photos up but here they are. They are from our boating trip with Bill Orwig before he left island for Utah. He is a great guy and is already missed!

Boating with the Majettes'

The Majette Family invited us come out on their boat with them on Sunday. Jay was off fishing so off the kids and I went. We had a blast! We went over to White Bay on Jost Van Dye. The kids played, swam, ate and drank shirley temples. The adults sat around enjoyed ourselves and commented on many of the visitors to the Soggy Dollar Bar. On the way home is when the fun really started. We anchored off of Solomon Beach on St. John, craked the music and the dancing started! Wait the dancing started as soon as the kids were done jumping off the side of the boat!

The cannonball king.

Getting ready to dance!

They could have danced all night!

A beautiful end to a perfect day.
