They found it!

The kids got some face paint while we were on Cape Cod this summer. When we left the Cape it was put somewhere safe. We totally forgot about it until they found it yesterday afternoon. They have been very busy.

Guilty Party

I think this is one of the frogs "helping" with the eggs in the pool. We found more in the pool this morning.

Flushing

We had to flush some of the tadpoles the other day. What my children do not know is that their mother flushed about 5x that many down the toilet. We cannot have that many tadpoles swimming around. As a friend of mine said "Isnt that some type of plague, all those frogs?"

My Classroom

This is the block and dramatic play room.
The window by the desk leaks. I have a nice puddle on the floor after in rains!

Here is our library center, writing center and meeting area.
The bathrroms are back behind the orange wall on the right behind the beads. We also have a kitchen sink there too.

One of our doors. We use this one the most. The room is the other half of the picture above it.

Here is the view of the main room from the dramatic play/block area. There is a door on the left that slides shut.

We have swimmers!

The frog eggs started changing almost immediately. Yesterday afternoon they were kidney shaped. Last night they were oblong and this morning they had changed into tadpoles and were swimming!

Frog Eggs

The frog eggs have been relocated from the pool to a storage tub next to the door. The kids tried to save as many as they could. They filled up 2 coolers and 3 buckets with the eggs. Walker had a fit when I dumped them out! She wanted to save them all! NO WAY! The eggs in the bucket have already started to change. We have done lots of reading on line on how to raise tadpoles into frogs. I will keep you posted!
