Camp Rock
It's Baaacccckkkk
Our landlord Danny was kind enough to build/cut a trail for us from our house to the beach. He took us on it on Wednesday. The only problem would be, yep you guessed it, Christmas bush. I have a light case on my one arm near my hand. Now that I know what it is it is easier to deal with it. Hopefully it wont appear anywhere else.

Anegada Trip
We went to Anegada this past weekend. We took a ferry from St. John to West End Tortola, took a cab from West End to Road Town, had lunch and waited for our ferry to Anegada. The ferry to Anegada only runs to Anegada 2x a day on MWF.
We spent Saturday and part of Sunday at Flash of Beauty beach. The guys went diving on Sunday from the beach. The whole island is surrounded by a reef. When they were done we headed down to Cow Wreck Beach where we had dinner,
There is not much on Anegada but the beaches are beautiful. There is only one stretch of paved road on the island. The rest is sandy trails through the brush. There is a flock of flamingos that lived on the island. We could not get close enough to see them.
Our rental car!
The hotel we stayed in, Neptune's Treasure. 9 rooms and 1 cottage. If the restaurant is closing up and you want to stay later you can just write down what you had on a pad of paper. They have delicious lobster!!!!
The boys regrouping after a long night! Can anyone say flu?

Anegeda
We are off to Anegeda this weekend with Luke and Heather. Dont worry the kids are coming too. Anegeda is a small British Virgin Island a few ferry rides away from here. Here is some info on Anegeda...
Anegada, an island 10 miles long by 2 1/2 miles wide with extensive salt ponds, reaches its highest point at 28 feet, hence its name which means the "drowned land." Of coral reef origins, Anegada has "extruded" sixteen miles of sandy beaches with a primeval quality. Anegada is "guarded" by the famous Horseshoe Reef which, at eighteen miles long, is one of the world's largest coral reefs.
Be on the lookout on Monday for the details of our trip.

I finally figuired it out
My brother Matt has been telling me for a few months to put an email subscription on the blog. Basically what that does is allow you sign up and everytime new content is added to the blog an email is sent to you. I thought I had it right the first time I did it but nope. I was hoping that my lovely brother Matthew would take the hint and do it for me! I finally sat down and figuired out how to do it. So if you want to subscribe just enter your email over there to the right and an email will be sent to you when new content is added to the blog. Enjoy!

Heaven to us
It rained most of the afternoon today which is heaven to us. It has not rained in a few weeks and since we get all of our water for things like cooking ,washing, and showering from rain water, we were happy to see the rain. One of the funniest things about the rain today was that it was like a cloud sat over our house all day long. If you looked out onto the ocean it was blue and beautiful

Demand by Walker
Walker asked that I put these two pictures on the blog. In the first one she is painting with her new art kit that she got at the art studio where she has been taking lessons. In the other picture she is wearing her fabulous new sunglasses that Mr. Luke sent her!
Nothing much is new here. We are gearing up for Luke to visit next week for a week and then we are off to the states!

Pan-O-Rama
Yummy Johnny Cakes!!!!
Jay and Heather enjoying a Johnny cake.
Saturday kicked off the beginning of Carnival month here on St. John. There are Carnival festivities all month long on the weekends. Everything culminates on the 4th of July with a parade and fireworks. We are looking forward to experiencing Carnival Caribbean style! The island started it all off with a steel pan concert in downtown Cruz Bay. The kids loved hearing all of the Caribbean music and watching everyone dance. One of the bands played Amazing Grace. That was cool! After we went to dinner at Banana Deck and then to Woody's for some after dinner cocktails.
The biggest Sprite ever!!
